Weston is a community of about ten thousand people, very green and residential, with limited commercial zoning and 2 acre zoning for residential properties. There are lots of hiking trails, a several farmers markets and stands and excellent public schools. While a relatively quiet community, nearby towns of Westport, Fairfield and Wilton are a quick drive for larger restaurant, theater and shopping selection. Hiking

Lachat Town Farm has become a happening place to hang out over the past few years. Keith Richards daughter was married here a few years ago. Car and ride apps
One really needs a car or ride app to get around locally. The benefit of 2 acre and minimal commercial zoning is so much green space and forest. For some odd reason, Uber's GPS ends in the middle of my road, so make sure you let the driver know to go all the way to the end of the road and down the shared drive, etc. Closest train stations are Fairfield and Westport. They are each about a 20 minute drive away. The train to NYC is about 65 minutes from the Westport train station. A lot of people here commute to the city every day for work. You can download the MTA eTix app to buy train tix.

Grocery ideas
There is a small grocery store called Lily's, a small liquor store, pharmacy and gas station in 'Town Center' in Weston. Lily's probably has most items you might need. There are many more stores in the neighboring towns, including Stop & Shop in Westport, which delivers. You can do that online. Lily's tends to be a bit pricier, while Stop & Shop is usually more affordable (but farther away).
