Be sure to visit Chimney Rock & beyond to see the appeal & love of these two small towns. Plenty to do with or w/out kids, but lots of fun regardless. We have provided some of our favorite spots for you to check out! Lots of these are seasonal, so be sure to check hours before heading that way.

Food Lion is the closest grocery if coming from Asheville/Fairview area. Ingles in Hendersonville or Lake Lure if coming from the other way. Regardless, would suggest stopping before heading to house.
Gerton. A great spot to grab a cold drink & snack before/after a nearby hike! Great beer & soda selection! Fun Bear Pro Co merch! Live music on Fridays (check schedule) and always a fun time! Locally owned & operated! Worth a stop!
