Directions to your apartment
After you are all ready and set for your trip to our place, make sure to enter the right address into your navigation app - Oprič 8, Oprič ( very commonly confused with "Put Oprič 8" by Googl*-maps)
In addition, we strongly advise to optimize your route by choosing Opatija as your highway exit , followed by a drive to the outskirts of Lovran. Once you pass the large sign for Lovran, found on a stone wall, prepare to soon take a right turn at the INA petrol station. Thereafter, you can safely rely on your navigation instructions.
Following the aforementioned route will ensure, that you won't have to traverse through uncomfortably narrow and steep mountain roads, which are very common in our region.

Beaches
An easy recommendation when you want to go for a swim.
Bars and food objects at the beach will provide you with sustinance after a hard day of swimming and sunbathing :)
Free entrance to the beach, but we advise for paying for a parking spot at Autocamp Medveja.
It gets crowded during peak hours.
Beach etiquette: Leave unnecessary belongings in the car - it most likely won't happen, but you never know ; and check your pockets before going into water.

An easy recommendation when you want to go for a swim.

Jelenščica beach is admittedly tricky to find, takes a 10 min hike down the hill and you will find no bers or restaurants there...but...you also won't find clearer water, fresher air or a better sense of serenity anywhere else.
