A short drive from the apartment (could be a walk if you’re feeling ambitious). Made from NYS apples, Nine Pin makes a well balanced, tasty cider that comes in various seasonal flavors. My favorite that they’ve released so far is Earl Grey!

Beautifully renovated bar and restaurant with the best bartender in Albany. It’s just two short blocks from the apartment. Take a look at the all the vintage photos on the wall celebrating Albany’s trolley days. The restaurant sits on the old “Beltline 3”, hence the name.

Great Italian food in a lovely environment. It’s newly renovated but the chicken parm recipe has stayed the same for decades. Across the street from Dove & Deer - one of our favorite bars. About 3 blocks from the apartment.

Across the street from Rosanna’s. They have a nice food menu as well if you’re not in the mood for Italian. They also have amazing cocktails and nice window seats!

Seriously the best cheesecake. They are a not-so-well-kept secret in the area. Their menu changes daily & they close once they’ve sold out for the day (usually within a few hours). Our favorites are the Grasshopper, Green Tea, Blueberry Maple, and the Chocolate Chip Fasciana. Look out for the elusive Squatch flavor, it’s not made often and is scooped up quickly once announced.
