Progressive Trail Design, based out of Northwest Arkansas, has done a fabulous job designing this trail. The complete system includes approximately 6.3 miles of interconnected spur trails and loops. Although the trail system does include a few short, rocky sections scattered here and there, most of the terrain consists mainly of very smooth, flowing singletrack. This makes for a great ride for both beginners and enthusiasts alike. Beginners will appreciate the clean, smooth path that is mostly free of large rocks, tree roots, and other obstacles, while more experienced riders can take it up a few notches for a fast, thrilling ride. The trail’s rolling contour mainly consists of only moderate, gradual inclines and downhills, so you won’t have to worry about any leg-burning climbs here at Blowing Springs.

Coler Mountain Bike Preserve is built on land designated as a mountain bike preserve about a mile west of downtown Bentonville. Although you might think you are in the backcountry of the Ozarks while riding Coler, the trails are actually located about two miles west of downtown Bentonville. The trails feature multiple flowy jump lines, challenging technical rocky sections and several huge gap jumps.
Phase 1 culminates at the spectacular “Hub” near the top of the mountain, a 20-foot-tall steel-and-wood structure that guides riders to the start of three downhill runs. From there, you can choose which trail to take and the level of difficulty. If you are an expert level downhill or enduro rider, try Cease and Desist. It features the “Drop the Hammer” — a double black alternate line featuring a 12-foot drop into a valley setting you up for 10-foot step-up jumps and two more large drops.
If you love a rocky technical trail, then try out Rock Solid – a super technical trail with, you guessed it, rocky goodness. Coler is now the state’s most challenging enduro-style jump trail system.

The Mod Lodge sits right on this trail system! The hollers and ravines on the west side of Bella Vista have also been opened up to the exploration of the new Little Sugar trail system. The current 40-mile open network takes trail users under bluffs along Sugar Creek and to a waterfall on Tanyard Creek as it wraps its way around Windsor and Avalon Lakes. Expect plenty of switchbacks and berms, as well as more advanced features like drops and jumps that have been generously sprinkled in throughout the system. You should also be prepared to stop and take in the lakes, creeks, waterfalls, caves, and other nooks and crannies found along the trail system that will make you forget you’re just an Uber call away from your home or car in the event of a flat tire. Be ready to use those climbing legs, too. The descents are a roller coaster, but you have to earn them. You’ll also pass through several tunnels built out of ten-foot diameter pipes. Like the Back 40, the Little Sugar is made up of an outer loop and several other trails that cut through the middle to give riders plenty of options for routes.
Unlike the Back 40, the Little Sugar trail system is your go-to all-weather trail system. There’s also more climbing per mile than anywhere in the Northwest Arkansas area.

Located in booming downtown Bentonville just off the square, adjacent to the farmers market and myriad events in downtown throughout the year. This was our first shop to design from the ground up, and it features a 360 degree, tiny white tiled bar that utilizes the industry’s best equipment. Baristas can be seen shaking iced drinks to pouring impeccable latte art. This coffee bar produces beautiful toast, croissants, and desserts (plant based options as well). Designed with community in mind, there’s a meeting room that’s free and open to customers, and various seating at which to work, to talk, and to dream.
