Rainforest

Tarra Bulga National Park - go for a hike in the cool rainforest and see the giant mountain ash trees. Listen to the the lyrebirds callout below the suspension bridge and then take the second walk to Cyathea Falls. On your way back to the farm, make sure to stop at Fernholme for Devonshire tea and give their Cockatoo a scratch.

Beach

90 Mile Beach - visit many of the shore lines along 90 Mile Beach. McLoughlins Beach is at the very beginning of the 90 Miles. It is great for those who are keen on fishing both on the pier or surf fishing (they also have a boat ramp!) Woodside Beach has it's own surf life club that also offers meals over summer. At the opposite end of the 90 Miles is Lakes Entrance which is an absolutely beautiful place for a day trip.

City/town information

Port Albert is Victoria's first established port. For those who love history you can find the Maritime Museum, many first settlement buildings and one of Victoria's first cemeteries. You can walk along the old rail trail that provided Gippsland before the railway line from Sale to Melbourne was built. Port Albert is the place to go for fishing or scenic charters, it also has the best fish and chips located on the jetty.

Yarram - there are many things to do and see in Yarram. Back in 2020 Heesco a street artist began painting murals all over town, there are around 24 murals to be viewed. During summer you can wak down the street and watch chalk artists work on pieces along the sidewalks. Attend the Easter festival, Tarra Festival and markets or maybe even head over to the Regent Theater to watch a movie or performance.

If you are looking for more boardwalks and ports, head over to Sale. You can walk across the swing bridge and watch the rowers underneath (or even join them if you enjoy rowing). There is an established shopping centre for those who would prefer to walk around the shops.
