Located next to the museum of Contemporary Art of Malaga, Oleo serves a mix of sushi and Mediterranean dishes in a modern version. The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. The menu changes as does the specials, but everything we had was good, the nigiri with tartar and truffles was to die for and the desserts alone were worth a visit!

This is a very popular restaurant full of locals, which is always a good pointer. The portions are large, so consider sharing dishes. You can also decide to go just for tapas if you are not very peckish.

Tearoom at a high level. a huge selection of teas, hot and cold. Amazing tea cocktails and delicious coffee. Professional staff, for which work is also a hobby. Staff can provide advice and recommended drinks according to personal preferences. Definitely recommend to stop for a cup. In summer... go for a refreshing Jara lassi.

Drinks & Nightlife

Located in Avenida del Mar near the Dali statues, it has a great cocktail list. Close to the sea, this is a classy venue for after or pre-dinner drinks, and you can also enjoy a smoke of the hookah pipe if it takes your fancy.

In this genuine bodega, there is a good choice of local sweet wines served in small glasses for a very reasonable price. Also some simple pre-made tapas, but I’m not sure they are fresh. They sell Malaga Wines by the glass straight from barrels. On the must do list when visiting Málaga.

Shopping

La Canada Marbella is the largest shopping centre on the Costa del Sol. It is located at 10-15 minutes and the parking is free. The shops include the Spanish chains Mango, Zara and Massimo Dutti which are all cheaper here than anywhere else in Europe. Trust me, I know...I like to shop, so if you need a new wardrobe, it’s worth buying it all here.
