I find the Chalice Well a beautiful place for quiet reflection, peace and healing. On a nice day it's great to take a flask of tea and a good book and read in the sunshine. It is a 10 minute walk from where you will be staying. You can either take the scenic country walk or town walk both are very nice.

The Tor is a 5-10 minute scenic walk from my home. It is a place of pilgrimage and people travel from all over the world to visit the Tor. There is a stairway leading up, it is quite a walk make sure you take some water. The views are over 3 counties and the history is very interesting.

Glastonbury Tor

I love the Glastonbury Abbey, the walk around is beautiful and there is also a tour you can take to familiarise yourself with the History of the Abbey. Great for a morning or afternoon outing. The Abbey is about a 10 minute walk from Starlight Cottage and is in the centre of Glastonbury Town.

This is such a beautiful and historical cathedral and right in the centre of Wells which is definitely worth a visit with its nice restaurants and shopping.

I really like this little find. It is an alternative clothes kind of funky hippie style and you can really find something very unique here.

This is a quiet place to meditate, they have some really nice music and its donation only to enter.

I love this ambient little cafe in the heart of Glastonbury. The food is really nice and it is very atmospheric too. Definitely worth a visit.

This is my favourite vegan/vegetarian restaurant. All the food is prepared on the premises and their cakes are delicious and home made. It is open till 4pm most days apart from Wednesdays.
