The Locks are 100 years old, built in 1917, and are a fantastic, free outdoor sightseeing landmark that connect the salt water sound to the fresh water lakes. Walk across them to the fish ladder. Stroll in the beautifully landscaped adjacent gardens. Afterwards head to Ballard where there's a variety of great pubs and restaurants.
