It's not quite the style destination that it use to be but its still a fun place to walk along. The South end is more hip and foodie - the north end is more mainstream, with lots of stuff in-between.

For a lot of Melbournians the Tan (track) is a daily exercise ritual. It's a beautiful way to exercise whilst enjoying glimpses into the Botanic Gardens. Cafes along the way too!
