Most of the décor for the house came from this place. 10,000 square feet of vintage clothing, art, oddities, memorabilia, records, CDs, cassettes, posters and more. If you're lucky enough to be here on the third Saturday of the month they have live music and free beer along with a vintage flea market out back. It's also a great place to take pictures inside and out with a ton of large murals on the back side of the building in "inspiration alley". There are several great businesses near by which are detailed in the rest of the guide.

Food scene
Tulanes has the best pizza in town for my money and they serve until 1am so it's a great spot for late night eats. They make a dandy of an old fashioned so treat yourself while you are there. If you are lucky enough for them to have gumbo on the menu you should definitely get your hands on bowl, it's just about the only place I'll order gumbo from in town.

Trinity trails
Highly suggest hitting the trinity trails if you want to get out for some exercise. They run through a good portion of the city and along the trinity river.
