You haven't been to Vancouver Island if you don't take in Long Beach Provincial Park between Ucluelet and Tofino on the west coast. A 2 1/2 hr. drive from Comox, the last hour on winding road.

You just have to go! It's spectacular, especially if you get a sunny day. Surfing, trails, towns to visit in Ucluelet (less commercial) and Tofino, Visit the aquarium in Ucluelet for sure!
