Sightseeing

It's an amazing maze of fun activities! Make sure you wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty. There are numerous fun slides including a 10 story one! So fun. So much to explore inside and out. There are fun sculptures everywhere and many gargoyles! I highly recommend it and just be mindful high physical activity is required, but it is still fun to walk around. Kids will love you forever if you take them here.

The Campbell House Museum opened on February 6, 1943, and is in the Greater St. Louis area, in the U.S. state of Missouri. Beautiful Victorian Home. Tour Guide are awesome historians that definitely love their job. The home is well kept and clean, very much worth $10 dollars per person.

The Gateway Arch is a 630-foot monument in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Clad in stainless steel and built in the form of a weighted catenary arch, it is the world's tallest arch and Missouri's tallest accessible building. Some sources consider it the tallest man-made monument in the Western Hemisphere

In Forest Park, you’ll find most of the prominent museums including the Saint Louis Art Museum, Missouri History Museum, Saint Louis Science Center, and the Saint Louis Zoo. I recommend renting a bike and hitting the bicycle trails to maximize your time exploring Forest Park. Fun Fact- Forest Park is 450 acres larger than Central Park in New York City.

This is a great open air venue, very comfortable in these Covid times. I enjoy the delicious smells, foods and fresh faces. A special shout out to Press Waffles - the owners Ryan and Jackie are working hard side by side serving a scrumptious Waffle and Chicken dish. Always a smile and great product.

This is a must visit place for any beer lover! It's in a cool old building near downtown with a large, free parking lot. They have tons of different beers on tap, so there should be something for everyone to enjoy. If you're indecisive like me, they do flights of five beers so you can try multiple styles. The food is also excellent with lots of different options, but a focus on European dishes. I really enjoyed the German sausage plate. Service was friendly and the food came out fast!

Neighborhoods

One of the coolest things to do in the Central West End is to simply drive around and gawk at the historic mansions. In the early 1900’s, residents started building gigantic homes in that area and those homes are still around today. In recent years, there have been new constructions projects of high-risers and modern buildings which provides this neighborhood a good mixture of the old and new.

This is our neighborhood and Downtown West is an obvious stop on your weekend getaway due to the proximity to actual Downtown St. Louis. Stop by Union Station and satisfy your sweet tooth at the Soda Fountain. Pro Tip– Bring a friend and split one of the freak shakes! Don’t miss out on jumping on the St. Louis Ferris Wheel in one of their enclosed gondolas. You’ll get a unique view of the skyline while reaching heights of 200 feet.
