We are going to start offering a few “pop up picnics” this fall. They can be customized in a lot of ways. You can add charcuterie boards, mini photo sessions with a local photographer, a bonfire and even “Marry Me” lights. We will not be adding these to our website as there are too many moving parts. Feel free to reach out to us directly for more info.

Joseph's has delicious Italian Food and great views. This is an upscale restaurant with great service. They are typically very busy and don't take reservations. I would call ahead for wait times and try to visit early.

Crabbing/fishing
We love to crab at this dock. It's so pretty overlooking the Intercoastal. Just grab chicken and a net. High tide or close to high tide is the best time to go.

Sightseeing
Great shelling and maritime views from this westernmost tip of Oak Island, where Lockwood Folly River on one side of the Point empties into the south-facing Atlantic on the other. The currents here are strong as the two bodies of water intersect.
Small public parking lot with access to short paths across the dunes lead to your choice of oceanfront or soundside adventure. Watch your the time, so you don’t get caught on the flats when the tide turns.
Sunsets along the Point are breathtaking.
