This restaurant is also close to the house, and it has the best Mexican food in the area. When you still down they immediately bring chips, salsa, and queso dip to your table. The blended margaritas and food are top notch

I love the burgers at this place. All the food is good, but the burgers are great! I also like watching football or baseball games here, as they have lots of TVs.

Altoona County Park has a great beach, and boat landing. People fish and ski on lake Altoona. The "Ski Sprites" also performed here during the summer, I believeon Wednesdaynights at 6:30. This park is also close to the house.

Great location for walks, restaurants, veterans memorial. Very pretty. I think there is sprinklers in the summer kids play in. Nice trail next to Eau Claire River as well.

Downtown eau claire is great for: walking, shopping eating, or having some adult beverages. Uber is also available for a ride home if needed. At night the lights are nice. There is a budget theater which is fun, and affordable, to see movies at.
