Sightseeing
About 35 minutes north. Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park has some wonderful sights and hiking trails. My favorites are the James Irvine trail, the Prairie Creek trail and Trillium Falls. The Ossagon trail is beautiful as well and is one of the few that allows bicyclists for those interested in biking through the redwoods. Lost Man Creek is another favorite. We provide a trail map of the park inside of the rental for your convenience.

Less than 10 minutes away.The coastline in and around Trinidad is some of the most spectacular you could ever hope to find. Try Trinidad State Beach and then take a drive along Scenic Drive to experience lots of uncrowded coves and beaches.

Called Sumeg now. About 15 minutes north. Great rugged coastal hiking with gorgeous views. Also agate beach for the rock hunters. There is an $8 day fee if you drive into the park.
