Beautiful views up top, very overgrown so long pants are necessary and good waterproof or breathable shoes will help. Shaded and cool with plenty of fresh, cool mountain water available. Tons of wildlife and a vast array of flora, take your time and you will see all it has to offer. Perfect hike for a hot summer's day!

This is a great spot to catch a quick hike on your way in to our out of Asheville so you can maximize activities! It's about a 25 minute drive from the house but puts you very close to Asheville after that.
