Dante is 10 a minute walk right out of the front gate and north on Professor. Opened in a historical bank building, you might be lucky enough to get seated in the vault. Owned and operated by Chef Dante Boccuzzi, you can choose from the traditional Italian menu upstairs, or the amazing sushi of Ginko downstairs. Reservations are recommended.

La Bodega is 5 minutes to your right out the front gate, with a few turns to the corner of Tremont and Jefferson. They make amazing sandwiches that are usually big enough for two, or if you’re really hungry just go for it! Our favorite is the #47, Californian Sub. Call ahead, and sandwiches are usually ready in 10 minutes.

Rawley is a proper Cleveland Bar & Grill with lots of local flavor. Oh, you’ll also be right across the street from the Christmas Story House!

Hotz Café is a Tremont institution, and is only 100 yards away, left out of the front gate with a right on West 10th. Family owned and operated by the Hotz family for over 100 years, this is as much a part of Cleveland as those big, beautiful steel mills! Nothing fancy here, cold beers and a nice selection of liquor for shots is the standard fare, with a game of shuffleboard on Ohio’s oldest table recommended.
