Catherine Hill is a must-visit. Just a short walk from our house (only 5 minutes away), it's the cobbled road leading down to the centre of town. Catherine Hill has lots of wonderful independent shops and cafes, where you'll find everything from house plants to chopping boards, yarn, ceramics, great coffee, hampers and delicious vegan treats.

Sightseeing
We adore Cley Hill for it's beautiful 360 degree panoramic views over Somerset and Wiltshire. It's about 12 minutes in the car from our place, and definitely worth a visit on a sunny day -perhaps with a picnic!

Food scene
Delicious food - everything is gluten free and they cater very well for vegans. Great coffee, sweet treats, and lunch bowls. Our trick is to call up and place an order ahead of time, to save queuing outside for too long!

Very delicious and authentic Thai run by husband and wife duo. They have a small menu and take bookings in advance - slots are filled quickly. We LOVE the Pad Thai!

Amazing authentic Indian food - daily menu (three/four dishes), can check it out on their website. They take orders before 2pm on the day (Weds-Sat) to minimise food waste. Lunch also available to pick up in the cheese and grain car park in the centre of Frome.
