A historical marker recently unveiled in Old Town Spring tells the story of a town that began as a farming community, became a railroad center and then morphed into a shopping district.
"The marker means a great deal to residents," said Margaret Mallott Smith, member of the Spring Historical Society.

Northgate Crossing is a centrally located community which lies between Interstate 45, Hardy Toll and the Grand Parkway.
There is literally no other community in all of Houston Metro which can boast less tan 1 mile access to 3 major Highway / Toll Roads.
The community consist of a mile long lighted walking and biking trails with 2 community pools (open in the summer).
Spring Fire Department Station 78 is located in the community for added safety as well as top rated Elementary and Middle School.

Southwell Park is a five-acre facility with one lighted basketball pavilion, a barbecue pavilion, a community building, a playground, picnic tables, barbecue grills, and rest room facilities.
The B. F. Clark Community Building is located within Southwell Park and offers an activity room with kitchen and barbeque pavilion with electricity. The community building can accommodate a group of up to 60 people and may be reserved for a maximum of five hours a day during the following times:
10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
4 p.m. – 9 p.m.
