Uber & tuktuk is fastest way to get around
But if you’re travelling with someone who knows the city then it can be a special way to travel in Dar. Alternatively, taking a ride on a bajaji (tuk-tuk) is exhilarating and one of the quicker ways to get around. But again, what might be a novelty for some foreign visitors is a normal but not always safe way of navigating the city for local residents. As such, it helps to know where you are going, how much to expect to pay and to be well aware of the safety risk of a motorbike on bad roads.
