Findlay Market is an amazing experience. Food, farmers, and craft market. It is Ohio's oldest operated public market. There are many different stands there that serve different foods from different regions and cultures as well as a beer garden. It is open from Tuesday through Sunday. There is also some great new restaurants that surround the market area.

There is honestly not a better scoop of ice cream in the world. A must try for ice cream lovers. They use a small batch, French pot process making ice cream 2.5 gallons at a time. We have had people ask us to dry ice ship this ice cream to them all across the country. Their chocolate chip ice creams are especially note worthy. Their bakery items are also very good.

Meats are from Avril-Bleh, the butcher around the corner, and smoked low and slow over oak and cherry wood. Bread comes from local bakery, Giminetti. Everything else is made in house. A wide selection of craft beer and bourbon to compliment your meal, and on weekends, live music.

Washington Park is 2-3 blocks from the condo. Their park for kids is AMAZING. "The Porch" serves adult and children refreshments. A must-see.

The Newport Aquarium is across the river on the Kentucky side of the river but still only a 5-minute drive. There are five glass tunnels that allow the marine animals to swim over you. It's super cool!

If you decide to ride the connecter or take your car to the riverfront area make sure to visit Smale Park. It has very fun activities for kids. You could spend a day in the riverfront area. There are lots of great restaurants, a carousel, and cool water features.

They claim to be "the world's largest collection of artists under one roof" The "Final Friday" of each month they open the building to the public from 6-10pm for studio walks giving guests the opportunity to meet artists, view and purchase their artwork, attend lectures, live demonstrations and FREE interactive classes. You can also request to visit specific artists by appointment as well on other days of the week
