This small skill resort has four ski lifts and 14 trails, three conveyors, a warming hut for the ski school and a full lodge and deck with a rental shop, cafe, bar and gift shop. It’s the perfect place to learn or teach the young ones.

You will be 15 miles away from Squaw Valley Resort. I grew up skiing this resort, and is my favorite resort in Tahoe! Squaw Valley Ski Resort covers 3,600 acres employing 30 chairlifts and the only funitel in the U.S. It's not only a premiere ski resort in the Lake Tahoe area, but also the country. The terrain is perfect for all skill levels.

Northstar features 3000 acres of skiable terrain, 20 ski lifts. It offers a modern and luxurious mountain experience. But, make sure to get there early on a weekend as it tends to get busy.
