One of my top 3 breakfast tacos places, Granny's is a single trailer located next to an outdoor food trailer court, but is tucked away on its own behind the Kammock outdoor shop on E 7th and Navasota. Granny's makes some really great breakfast tacos and lunch items as well, about a 5 minute walk away. On weekends they disable their online ordering because they're just too busy to deal with it. Get there early for very little wait time, but there are picnic tables.

The newest Soup Peddler location is only a 10 minute walk away at 1401 Rosewood Ave. Soup Peddler started with one man and a bicycle delivering soup and has grown the several locations throughout town with soup, sandwiches and smoothies (try the Business Time or Lassi Come Home!). BBQ Trailer with excellent meat and super sides--a 10 minute walk away. Like most BBQ places around, once the meat is gone it's gone, so plan on it for lunch. While Franklin has stellar brisket, Micklewait is right there as well and has a great variety (if you like sausage their selection is a must try) and yummy yummy sides like Jalapeno Cheese Grits. Check website for days and hours of operation.

A well thought out development that is used by the whole city.
