Even though very busy and touristy, the area is great and the shops are amazing. In winter there is a skating rink and in summer it's a superb place to relax with some cheesecake from the Cheesecake factory inside Macy's. If you feel active, hike up the streets towards the bridge for an excellent view of the city and harbour.

A view of the bridge is absolutely stunning! (crossing it towards the city is also a stunning view) you can not miss this landmark while you are in SF.

Food scene
Their bar menu is super excellent and affordable! If you want to eat delicious food on a budget you can come before dinner time and enjoy a nice bite. Cocktails are wonderful and the meat is scrumptious, beautiful atmosphere also!
