Croyde has a stunning surf beach and is your typical quaint village by the sea. It is situated just over the headland from Saunton on one side and Putsborough on the other side. You can walk around Baggy Point headline and stop off at Sandleigh Tea rooms for a scone and a coffee. For surf lessons, Stand Up Paddle Board lessons and Coasteering; head to Croyde Surf Academy which is situated in Down End Car Park and runs out of a blue double decker bus!

Ilfracombe is a quaint Victorian seaside town that stretches along the coast from the 'Coastguard Cottages' in Hele Bay toward the east and 4 miles along the Torrs to Lee Bay toward the west. There is a lovely coastal footpath that runs from Combe Martin through Ilfracombe and onwards to Woolacombe. Visit Damien Hurst’s controversial 20m high bronze statue in Ilfracombe harbour.
