You can take bus 856 to city center, the station is located 2 blocks away on Chrisostomou Smirnis street & Makris. You cannot buy tickets on the bus so you must take metro the first day, otherwise at various kiosks. Behind the bus station there is a nice bakery for breakfast and coffee
