Newport Beach is the essence of what people think about when someone says "Southern California". It has miles of wide sandy beaches where people relax, sunbath, play volleyball and surf, and it has a wonderful harbor for paddleboarding, renting electric boats, sailing and dockside dining. In addition to a wide variety of high quality dining, there are large selections of unique shopping and art/performance experiences in the area. If this is not enough, it is close to popular tourist destinations like Hollywood, Universal Studios, Los Angeles, Knott's Berry Farm, Disneyland. It also has easy access to many major sports teams.
