Tacoma has a developing artisan culinary scene that's growing! Check out some of these places.
People love to eat healthy and so do I. I've been visiting Marlene's for 25 years and it was around before Trader Joe's and Whole Foods, so when I don't want to go all the way to Whole Foods, I stop in here and grab organic, fresh veggies or have a fresh snack. You'll love it because it's close to the house and economical for your health.

You'll need a car to get here, but this place will make you dizzy with joy! It's an artisan, outdoor, fresh open market, but it's well worth the trip. A little pricey, but great for an all around treat.
