Take a trip to a farm, enjoy animals, fun playground and a nice little shop. The farm has a very cozy café with locally grown food, delicious lunch or just a "fika" (coffee with something sweet).

Just an hour drive north you will reach the border of Norway. Fredrikstad is a beautiful city to visit for a day, the old city is well kept and the location next to Glomma river makes the atmosphere here very nice.

Very cozy small fishing village, with restaurants, cafés and beautiful views. On hot days there are plenty of places to swim, both beaches but you can also jump from the cliffs. We love to come here with a picnic to enjoy on the cliffs.

Fun for kids
Daftö is a fun amusement park for kids under 10 years. The pirate theme makes it exciting and during the day there are several shows to watch. They have few rides, games and a very nice playground. Just next to the park there is a nice beach to enjoy if it is a hot day!

Liseberg is an amazing amusement park with lots of rides for all ages. Crazy fun and my kids love it!
