The barley sugar is a 2 minutes walk from our apartment. Very quiet, relaxing decor. If you like coffee, this is the best one in Eastbourne along with their delicious home made cakes (banana bread, flapjack, brownies, muffins etc.. and also a lot of gluten free options). There is a deli counter with a large selection of cheese, olives and tapenades. Very good price (sandwich from the deli £3.50, cakes £2) If you are looking for a place to go to for Breakfast, lunch or an afternoon snack, Barley sugar is definitely the place for it.
