Birgu or as it is also know Vittoriosa is one of the oldest cities in Malta. It can be reached by public transport in about 10 to 15 minutes. Bus stop exactly in front of Joseph & Margaret's place. Enjoy walking around the narrow streets, have lunch, dinner or simply a drink in one of the many restaurants on the water front or visit the Maritime Museum, Fort St Angelo or the Inquisitor's Palace. So much to see !!!!!

Birgu
Birgu or as it is also know Vittoriosa is one of the oldest cities in Malta. It can be reached by public transport in about 10 to 15 minutes. Bus stop exactly in front of Joseph & Margaret's place. Enjoy walking around the narrow streets, have lunch, dinner or simply a drink in one of the many restaurants on the water front or visit the Maritime Museum, Fort St Angelo or the Inquisitor's Palace. So much to see !!!!!
From Joseph & Margaret's place you can reach Valletta, the capital city by public transport but also by ferry boat from Birgu. If you are using public transport take the bus from exactly in front of Joseph and Margaret's place, stop at Birgu and take a ferry ride to Valletta. The crossing takes about 15 minutes and you can enjoy the magnificent scenes of Valletta from the sea. Highly recommended by Joseph & Margaret.

These gardens are the best place from where to enjoy the best stunning views of the Grand Harbour in Valletta. Be there before midday to enjoy the spectacular gun salute. Not to be missed.
