B bus goes along the Garden Ring — and it's the easiest way to get around Moscow if your points of interest are within the city center. There's a stop right across the railroad from my place.

There're three subway stops near me: Krasnye Vorota (red line, leads to all sights of the city center, 5 min walk), Kurskaya (blue line and ring line, 10 min walk), Kitay-Gorod (purple and orange lines, 20 min walk).
