Ghost town used in movies like Sundance Kid. Located on the way to Zions. If you go don't miss the cemetery!

This is about hour and a half drive from our place. There is a nice movie museum with prop buildings for old cowboy movies and as you walk the town streets pictures of old cowboy stars and small bios of them on plaques. If your a fan of Westerns it's a trip you will want to make!

Sightseeing
Red Reef Trailhead is a nice easy hike up a slot canyon. It starts in a lovely campground that was used in some John Wayne movies. There are some historical homes to see also in this area. Silver Reef is the site of an old mining town. The local landowners maintain the museum and its an interesting look into the life of a real one time mining town.
This is a great easy hike. There are historcial site's and a campground used by the film industry. There is a small fee.
