This is one of our favorite spots to take visitors! but a little secret to know in the summer is where the trail forks as you come to the river, if you take a left the misty falls are very near, but if you take a right and hike just a little ways further, you come to devil's Rock one of our favorite local swimming spots! Really a great place to go in the heat of the summer! bring a picnic lunch and spend an afternoon swimming and sunning in the wilderness with your Friends and Family!

this is a lovely little spot to sit and have a picnic or pick a rock, pick a mushroom and if you're not camping, (I know I don't sleep on the ground anymore LOL) there are day use areas that are sunny a gorgeous right along the river. And for the friendly mushroomer there is often an abundance and wealth of variety in the fall you could spend a week looking and not look at then all!
