The Grove is 3 blocks from our house, and it's consistently voted the best breakfast spot in the city. If you're a Breaking Bad fan, several episodes were filmed at The Grove. It gets busy, so go early or late or be ready to wait in a little bit of a line. The Grove is open for breakfast and lunch (closed Mondays).

My favorite happy hour in the city from 5-6:30. Start with the Devilish Eggs then order a carrot dog or skinny burger. To drink: a glass of local bubbly!

On Saturday mornings, the Growers' Market is the place to be. The park is green and shaded and the coolest place to be on a sunny Albuquerque morning. Chile relleno burritos and chocolate almond croissants from the French Bakery are amazing. There are lots of skilled artisans selling at the market, and this is where I've found many of my favorite providers for the airbnbs.

Funky, eclectic and a truly local event! The Rail Yards is a great place to spend your Sunday mornings. There are all kinds of vendors and some of the best produce I've ever found in Albuquerque. There are food vendors and music.
