Sightseeing

This space is a 5 minute drive to Encino Park where you will find basketball courts, tennis courts, grill's and children's play area. However, if those aren't your preferred sports/activities you could drive a little further over to Woodley Park where you will find a cricket field , archery range, boat rentals, bike path and bike rentals. You can even hike through the Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve. This location is also walking distance to Los Encinos State Park where you are allowed to walk through the village of Siutcanga and visit an 1800's blacksmith shop or even feed the large number of geese and ducks that live in the nearby pond. The property is adjacent to beautiful hiking trails and if golf is your thing, the Encino Municipal Golf is open to the public (bucket of golf balls are only $5. If you enjoy fishing Balboa Lake is just a 5 minute drive away ( a fishing license is required) and if you choose to partake in this 5 minute journey I highly recommend making a visit to the Japanese Gardens located just a block away from the lake. An uncountable number of eateries and coffee shops are close by as well.
