Slapton sands and Slapton ley are a great place to visit and see birdlife.A long expanse of beach with the road running beside it
This is where the D Day landings were rehearsed by the americans before they left for France
At the far end of Slapton is Streete Gate car park
To the left of the car park is a wild expanse of beach now officially a nudist beach. It is very big and so always plenty of room to be away from others or go down near the front if you want to be sociable ( ask me if you would like further information on this, happy to help. )
