Oxendale's Market is a very nice neighborhood market that you can easily walk to or drive to in a few minutes. This is owned by a few brothers and has the type of business where the employees have been around for decades. Beyond the basics, they have a lot of other specialities to help meet everyone's tastes.

Cub Foods is a chain of grocery stores. This has your basics along with some more upscale food choices. They would have a good deli with many pre-made foods to choose from. It's a 5-minute drive but not really easily accessible by food.

The Twin Cities has many wonderful places of interest. I'm highlighting those that are within 15 minutes of my home.
Minnehaha Falls is one of the natural gems of Minneapolis...and it's only a 10-minute walk away! You'll see not only the beautiful falls, but you can also hike along Minnehaha Creek out to the Mississippi River. You can rent some bikes and fun cycles there and cruise around the area. They offer free concerts Wednesday-Friday during the summer months. Sea Salt Restaurant is also in the park with delicious food and great outdoor seating. Dairy Queen is just across from the park if you need a little something sweet.
