Presti's Bakery is great for treats, pizza slices, sandwiches. It's a really nice vibe there, big open windows, good people watching. It's right on the main drag so a little congested during the week, Sunday is a little easier. Parking is tight there.

If you like to hike or just take in some fresh air in the forest, Bedford Reservation is superb. It's close (11-16 miles depending on your route) and Tinker's Creek Gorge which put Bedford Reservation on the map is spectacular. There are many trails that follow the gorge and many different degrees of difficulty.
