Used to be an Airport, now it's an impressive huge area located right in the middle of the city and just 15 min away by foot. Berliner like to go there to hang out with friends, barbeque, do all kinds of sports or just watch other people do them :)

Nice little park and historic Site. The Allies decided on how to divide berlin in different occupied sectors here after the War.

Drinks & Nightlife
Many Bars and Restaurants here. very lively at day and night. On Saturdays theres a very nice little food and flee market where you can find handcrafted things. Also this area is the main berlin LGBT district/area, interesting to see in any case since this is one of things Berlin is famous for.

Shopping
The largest and one of the oldest Shopping Malls of Continental Europe. Located on Tauentzienstr. and Kurfürstendamm it's the old main Shoppingstreet of former West-Berlin. Only a couple Minutes by Bus. Also there the Berlin Aquarium and Zoo.
