Here’s a list of food, historic sites, activities that I recommend. Everyone's tastes are different, so posting a variety at different price points.

Tasty burgers downtown, consider sharing any meal you get. The scotch eggs are super tasty. I go for the onion rings b/c every time I get fries they always seem to be the bottom of the barrel. Salads are big enough for 4 to share. Big platters, small location, some outdoor seating, usually a wait. Good cocktails.

Best coffee in town (for me). Serve Counter Culture coffee; good vegan and gluten free snacks. Good open and well air conditioned location. They make an exceptional "flat white".

This is our big art house in town. Its a nonprofit museum with changing exhibits in 2 wings. Half-price bottles of wine and open late (till 9pm) on Thursday nights. They usually have live music in the cafe or the performance space on Thursday nights. If you like slightly sweet whites, try their Chardonnay. I generally don't like Chard.

They usually have live music in the cafe or the performance space on Thursday nights. If you like slightly sweet whites, try their Chardonnay. I generally don't like Chard.
Great place for meeting for stogies, I'm usually there Friday evenings then during the summer, walk down to the river for live music during summer sundown concert series.

Food scene
Once while eating here, I cried and had to stop eating because the food was so glorious. Not everything mind you, but the Uni was fresh. This is my favorite sushi place in town by far.

Such an adorably cute place for families, fun date, for solid, tasty, abundant seafood!! Half way between Wrightsville and Carolina Beaches on College Rd. Try the fish tacos or risotto!
