A wonderfully historical area of London which has everything - world class museums, great market, wonderful large Greenwich park, amazing food, views across the Thames and obviously the start of Greenwich Meantime! You can either walk here (about 45 mins along the river) or get the bus (15 mins).

Museums and art galleries
Most major museums and art galleries are free to visit but you can (and should) give a donation (whatever you can afford). It’s only the temporary exhibitions that charge. Also most places are open late one evening a week

The cheapest travel is using a contactless card or your phone. Just make sure to always use the same card and touch in and out when using the tube.
