Only a 10 mins on the bus and 15/25mins depending how fast you walk. There is a lovely coastal walk too that takes you from Vaucluse to almost Bondi. Lots of great cafes, bars and people watching.

Million dollar properties, gorgeous walk there which takes a good 30/45 mins along the shore lines. Excellent places to eat along the way.

Great place to have a game of tennis, watch the world go by at the waters edge. The famous Catalina's Restaurant, you can catch a ferry into the city, can hire kayaks too. Its only a good 15 mins walk
