Sightseeing
The Funiculare brings you on top of the mountain in front of the apartment to Brunate. Thereby amazing view of the town and lake, nice restaurants with balcony and cafes.

If you like to walk you can get to Cernobbio by walking (Stadium, Villa Olmo, Promenade on the lake, and finally Cernobbio), or by boat. Nice and cosy place, with Villa d'Este and cafe' on the lake.

Get the Funicolare and go up to the mountain up to the phare (you can see it from the flat, it's the mountain on the front). It's the most amazing view you could have of Como and the lake. Also there are nice restaurants to taste the typical Polenta Uncia (Polenta and lot of butter with some cheese ;)

Brunate
Get the Funicolare and go up to the mountain up to the phare (you can see it from the flat, it's the mountain on the front). It's the most amazing view you could have of Como and the lake. Also there are nice restaurants to taste the typical Polenta Uncia (Polenta and lot of butter with some cheese ;)
All around the lake go to Cernobbio, Bellagio, Isola Comacina by ferry boat or car if you prefer, or just take a walk from the Stadium in Como to Cernobbio to enjoy step by step arts and views. I used to do this by bike too.
