This national historic site is a must see on your visit. Take a tour to the top of the Light and enjoy a magnificent view of the ocean. On a clear day you can see 50 miles up the coast to Atlantic City. It is also home to award winning gardens, created in English style, with natural private areas if you'd like to sit and read it enjoy the many sights and sounds of nature... also has an trail leading to the Anglesea Seawall, a 1.25 mile wall that wraps around the most beautiful body of water known as Hereford Inlet. You will learn much rich history on this visit. Admission & tours are free.

This is located at the end of our block and is 4 blocks long, including a playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, hockey rink and skatepark. There’s also a pier that juts our into the marsh and is a beautyful spot to see the sunset. (The pier is in need of repair and should be fixed soon) but you can still have a great view from it.

This beach has always been my favorite beach. It has more of a tropical feel to it. It is wonderful for anyone who loves the beach, and especially those with small children. There are tidal pools for playing in and exploring. It’s guarded and safe.
Directions from cottage: travel east towards beach 5 blocks to Surf Ave. Turn left and travel north to 1st Ave. There’s plenty of metered parking but if you park on 2nd you can avoid fees. There are also plenty of portopotties along the back of the beach.
Look for the blue gazebo for beach access. Enjoy!!
