Pacific Square in Maroubra Junction is the best for food. There is an ALDI store (cheapest) and Coles (wide variety) plus lots of smaller shops. The 316 bus goes there from Canberra St corner plus there is 2 hours free parking underneath.
Randwick shops have Coles and Woolworths but parking is challenging and traffic terrible but it is closer to walk or catch the 316 bus from Bundock St corner to Randwick.

This is a spectacular coastal walk with paths linking the beaches in both directions towards Bondi Beach (north) or to Maroubra and Malabar to Botany Bay. (South). Access is from Coogee Beach if you head down Bundock St east then right on Malabar Rd then left at Arden St down to Coogee Beach (20 min walk). Follow the path in either direction for spectacular ocean views and occasional whales in the right season.
