It is a beautiful lake in the heart of the city. It is beautiful surrounded with grills, docks, bike/walking trails, and kayak or paddle board rentals.
At night you can see the Dallas Skyline reflected in the water.

Although this place is about 25 minutes from my place, it is still my favorite place to spend early mornings. It has beautiful lookout points and lavender fields that are rare.
