Nice place, just across the street is restaurant called Maestral with amazing food and probably the best view on the old town of Rovinj. This is place where u must go during your stay here.

Church of St. Euphemia, patron of Rovinj city. View from there is beautiful, whole Adriatic coast and island in front of you. During the nice days you can see Italian coast on another side of Adriatic :)
