A fav historical site that houses the ruins of the once popular Sutro Bathhouse circa 1890s(?) with gorgeous views of ocean. Take the trail up to Sutro Heights for another amazing view of the coast.

A super lovely gift shop with candles, oils, and vintage cards. I love the fact that you can make your own body products and oil perfumes here. Worth a visit.

1890's style ice-cream parlour... yeah I said it! They make their own cones and ice cream and they have tons of phosphates and shakes to try infused with juniper, etc. Amazing!

Wonderful theater to see a movie. They also play a lot of indie films (my fav!) There is a restaurant and bar inside and you can reserve your seat online and sip your bar drink as u watch your movie.

After all that walking and exploring you might have some sore feet. I lOVE going here once a week if I can. For $35 you get a full 70 min accupressure massage. Totally worth it!! Treat yourself :)

A famous bar once visited by all the beatnicks in the 1950's. Next door you will find City Lights Bookshop which was the first to publish many of them. They also have the oldest gaslamp in the city.

Craft drinks, live jazz... it's a no brainer. Love this place during the week. Weekends it gets a little too "party" scene for me, but "Motown Monday's" are the bees knees.

The BEST food ( and cheapest) market in town. The lady with the organic apples (I think it's "McDonalds farm") sells the best apples I have ever tasted. Great herbs, cheese, veggies, fish, plants etc.
